Update 6-2-2022: I did another update on the connector links. Now the ends that slot into the bases are the same on both sides instead of being dedicated per side, there was a small difference in the round shape that follows the base wall Update 28-01-2022: I added chamfer on the connectors dovetails for easier placing and added two new version with closed bottom so can be used for placing screws, pellets or whatever As far a i can find, this is one of the few rifle vises on Thingiverse. I updated the rear base for easier printing I use this for maintenance, storage and steady shooting for fine-tuning my scope. The front and rear brackets are both threaded and therefor height adjustable. The front and back base are connected with dovetail-connectors Centre-to-centre-size between the brackets is 480mm Front bracket is available in two sizes...100mm and 140mm Best printed in PETG for strength and outdoor use BE AWARE: The threads on the nut and base can really be tight and might run heavy. I need to put some effort into getting it running smooth. I have found the nut will be fine, the brackets are what needs the most attention Really check the print seam and how you slice it. i printed the seam on the front in the slot for the brackets. It takes me about 5 minutes from tight to running smooth. You will need a well calibrated printer!! the tolerance between parts is 0.2mm. I for instance use 87% flow in Cura You will need suppports and rotate as you find best in your slicer! I printed the brackets upside down with supports and a brim because of the transition from threading to head. Parts are printable on a 220mm by 220mm bed If you download or collect, please also hit that like button under collect to show your appreciation And download the separate files, since download all is still not working. I included the rar with all the files.
