Muzzle blast effects. This one may be a bit tricky, given the different sizes of the figures' guns over the years. The openings on the ends are approximately 1.32mm (.052") in diameter, as that was the average measurement I got from 1:18 scale blasters, so you'll have to adjust accordingly.
