Star Wars Pencil Holder

This design allows you to hold a pencil, mechanical pencil, or pen. The part is exactly 1.99 cubic inches and it's just over 4 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 2 inches tall. The surface area is 33.05 inches. The design is the Star Wars title with two hooks in the back to hold a pencil. There is also a small base plate to ensure it doesn't fall over. The part was also specifically designed to use very little plastic so it could be printed without much costs. How I Designed This This part is one of three parts I have made as a part of my engineering challenge. I am currently enrolled in an engineering class at my High School. This challenge was class wide. The challenge was to create 3 organizers with a specific theme that took no more than 2 cubic inches of plastic. The theme I chose was Star Wars since Star Wars VII came out pretty recently. The parts I made as a part of the challenge included the Star Wars Pencil Holder, Tie Fighter Key Hook, and an AT-AT Cord Organizer.
