UPDATE 10/15/23: Hey all, I've gotten some awesome feedback on these, So I've made some major changes and fixes. The new changes are different enough, and benefit travel more than regular storage, so I've decided to break the project into 2: Travel and Storage. Storage Bin: - Basically, the same as the original - Made 10mm taller to accommodate taller minis - Made 5 variants for any combination of 50mm and 40mm bases Travel: - Larger footprint to accommodate unit card storage - Removable base insert for easy swapping - Simply place a metal plate under the base insert to take use of magnetized minis Images: Travel bin in silver, storage bin in red (the storage bin is an older iteration, the new one is 10mm taller, just haven't printed it yet) A quick note about the new travel bin. While the intent is to be able to fit a metal plate under the minis to be magnetized, I had a shockingly hard time finding a good metal plate that fits the bill. I was able to pick up a 12"x12" plate from Home Depot and cut/sand it to size, but if you aren't handy like that, I found a tie plate also from Home Depot for about 98 cents that doesn't fit perfect, but should work in a pinch. It's also worth noting that you'll want the plate to sit above the cards, as even 3 unit cards between the plate and the magnets are enough to render the magnetic hold pretty much nonexistent.   These are a handy little storage solution for squads of Shatterpoint minis! they have a fun little window so you can see your hard work while it's on the shelf, though I do recommend a brighter filament color if you want your minis to stand out. I've been working on this for a couple months since the game came out, loosely based on a unit bin I used for Star Wars: Legion. The lid should be a snug fit and not slip out, and the miniatures should fit in comfortably. Please, let me know how they work for you all, and if there's any design tweaks you'd like to see! I just want them to be the best and most useful bins they can be!
