The Rebels' hovercraft from The Empire Strikes Back Instructions Building instructions contained in snowspeeder_instructions.pdf Designed for 1/8" material. The reference square in snowspeeder_1.pdf should measure 1"x1". The guns are made of 1", 5/8" and 3/8" dowels. The lengths don't need to be super accurate, most important is to make the center-drilled holes (where the smaller ones fit into the bigger ones) straight down.
