Hey guys, Designed a Damage Deck for my Galactic Republic Faction. All the credit goes to stevenweathers for creating and designing the damage deck box. stevenweathers also has the Scum, Rebels and Empire factions for the Damage Deck Lids, so go check him out. Also credit to ty10y for designing the Galactic Republic logo. So go check him out, he has other designs that many of you may find useful. The Separatists Damage Lid I designed myself. Since I have a X-Wing Separatists Faction as well. I use a Creality Ender 3 printer when it comes to printing the .stl files. Also I use Cura to print my files. When using Cura I would use the standard settings, either Draft (0.2) or Fine (0.1). I prefer to use Fine (0.1) to get a better detail but the Draft (0.2) settings would be a faster printing but the quality may not be as great. In terms of Infill I like to do 20%, also for the Shell I would do Wall Thickness (0.8) and for Wall Line Count (2). For the Material side, I use a glass bed and I have my Temperatures for the Nozzle at 198 C and that is my Printing Temperature, Printing Temperature Initial Layer, Initial Printing Temperature and Final Printing Temperature. My Built Plate Temperature and Build Plate Initial Temperature sits at 54 C. Now I do use HatchBox PLA Cool Gray Plastic (1.75mm). And the Temperatures may need to be adjusted if you are using different color PLA or different plastic. There is no need for support for this print, but for my Build Plate Adhesion I do use (Brim) setting for my Built Plate Adhesion Type, my Brim Width is 2mm and the Brim Line count (5). I have noticed that Brim usually works best for my prints and helps my prints from warping, but if the warping still occurs the Temperature on your plate may be to high. Also one last thing under Quality settings my Initial Layer Height is always (0.1) for better Adhesion on the glass plate. Hope this helps and always make sure you clean your bed before you print.
