Stargate BC304 Daedalus

This is my BC304 Daedalus from the Stargate TV show. It, or others of the BC304 class, appeared prominently towards the end of SG1, and in Stargate Atlantis. Thanks to some fantastic references, it is extremely screen accurate. The model comes in 2 versions, a small 300mm version intended for a full resin print, and a larger 800mm version. The big one is 438mm wide, and 125mm tall. She’s not small, and it NOT a weekend print and build! There are 257 seperate STL files, and many of those are printed multiple times. By weight it should come in around 3.5kg. It is designed with a hollow internal frame intended to be printed in FDM for strength, and the frame screws together. The rest of the model glues on in a panel type approach. The frame parts can all be printed on an FDM printer with a 200x200mm bed. The detail panels can be printed on FDM, or resin, again on a 200x200mm FDM printer, or a resin printer with a build plate of around 190x120mm, such as an Elegoo Saturn, or Anycubic Mono X. The small detail parts can be done on a smaller Mars/Photon size printer. There is a lot more information on the parts, print times, weights, recommended materials etc in the instructions which you can download here:https://drive.google.com/file/d/13dFDWXZOxik6Xa6e0P3cKBQtQY5cajc_/view?usp=sharing If you have any questions or queries, please get in touch. I have a Facebook group here where you can see builds in progress. I'm always happy to assist. https://www.facebook.com/groups/360348098234645 UPDATE 2/3/22: Added the 300mm version, and updated the big one with a few small edits.
