The other replicator block models that are available all have the etched lines reversed from what is seen on the TV show or are oddly dimensioned. I used the dimensions from a 'hero' block, drawn by cheech9898 on theRPF, and redrew the model to correct the reversal issue. The models in the images were all printed at 0.2mm resolution. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.05-0.2 Infill: 25%-50% Notes: I've been playing with different ways to print this. Laying it flat on the bed results in lots of sagging on the underside of the model. I think standing it either on its side or on end could work really well if your overhang support settings are really well dialed in. If it's standing on end lower layer heights (0.05-0.1) come out really well, and slowing it way down ensures that the edges of the engraving come out well. I've also experimented with splitting the model in half to print and then joining the halves by gluing a 0.5" section of 1.75mm filament into the channel and clamping them together for a couple minutes. The result looks pretty good, it looks almost like there's just a bad layer in the middle of the final model.
