Starship - Ship (1:144 scale)

SpaceX'S Starship/Ship Upper/Second stage at a 1:144 scale. The flaps snap into places and rotate slightly in each direction, but can pop off if you rotate them without pushing inward. Fits on top of my SpaceX Starship/Booster model. The booster is found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5673382 **Filament Colors** Silk Silver - Starship body and flaps Black - Heatshield Gray - Engines You will need to print 3 sea level engines, 3 vacuum engines, 2 forward flaps, 2 aft flaps, 2 forward flap heatshields, 2 aft flaps heatshields, and 1 of everything else. When printing the flaps (body and heatshield), make sure to mirror one of each. When attaching the heatshield to its corresponding flap, I recommend attaching it to the side that was in contact on the print bed so that the front facing, non-covered portion of the flap has the same finish as the rest of the rocket body. Make sure to print the AftBottom upside down so you don't need need supports. But more importantly, the mounting holes need to be started from the build plate so that they actually come out circular. The heatshields can and were printed vertically (except the flaps). I glued everything together with Gorilla Super Glue XL and it worked great. Be careful when wiping excess as it will smear on outside. I recommend inserting engines before gluing that section to the rest of the rocket body. *Nosecone Heatshield* The nosecone section of the heatshield may not sit completely flush with the rest of the heatshield below. There may be a tiny gap. I used black sharpie at the very edge on the rocket body and then applied the nosecone to make the gap a little less noticeable.
