His long pleated robe was fashionable in the Ramesside period. The text on the back-pillar states that the statue was placed in the temple of Mut, the wife of Amun-Ra. Roy presents a large sistrum, a ritual rattle. This was linked to the cult of Hathor, whose cow-eared face is displayed.
