Statue of King Anlamani with ram horns

This large statue of King Anlamani has a distinctive feature that his head is deocrated with ram horns. The statue originates from Napatan, during the reign of Anlamani in the early 7th Century BC. Anlamani was a king of Nubia or Kush who ruled from 620 BC and died around 600 BC. Under his reign, Kush experienced a revival in its power.
