In the early 1800s Viennese luthier Johann Stauffer was one of the most revered guitar makers in the world. His guitars were one of the first to use guitars to use geared tuners. Among his aprentices was the young C. F Martin who would later found the American guitar company of the same name. Stauffer guitars along with the first martin guitars featured this type of headstock. Here I've recreated and updated a bit. Leave your comments, questions, requests, and complaints below.
