Steam Engine, realistic animation with Dynamic Simulation in Inventor 2015. Blueprints from http://www.john-tom.com/MiscrPlans/TwinJLS/TwinCylinderJLSweb.pdf. In the Assembly Environment (MainAssembly.iam) you can animate a simplified rotation of the crankshaft (DRIVE_ME). In the Dynamic Simulation Environment you get a more realistic animation. You can change the rotation speed and the rotation direction by changing the position of the LEVER (using the Input Diagram). One example attached (about 35 MB).
