Steampunk radial engine watch design

http://3dprojectss.blogspot.com Since I like steampunk and model airplanes i decided to make this design. It isn't finished yet but will be soon. Material used in my design would be copper, brass....a lot of it, polished or not, and when it comes to wood...well that is another story. Story o my life related to wood essences could be put in short trough my wounds on my hands trying desperately to finish my snake or angel sculpture. I always like wood. Is the perfect material almost for everything....different colors different way to be cut and sanded, one looks nice with some protective oil over it but others look better with lacquer. I decided to use cherry wood because of the beautiful color and resistance but also because my grandfather passed away recently and he took with him the life of an 60 years old cherry tree...the oldest I’ve seen or anyone else have seen....40 m tall and 30 m wide in diameter..branches and big as an entire tree...it gave me the impression that i am in the jungle...in the summer hot days it was the refuge of me and my brother for his thick canopy that never let the sun get in. I want to cry right now but i can't....my grandfather wouldn't want me to. 60 years ago my grandfather brought him from another country...from Hungary. He said that he bought him from a man who had one just as big ....or even bigger. I am sorry to get you all bored with my story but i did not have the inspiration to make a photo of him while still alive with my grandfather beside him. Two of the most important things for me on this world are gone...my grandfather and my old cherry tree. He now sits in the barn taking the shape of planks. I hope someday they will see the sun again and take another shape…to transform ….to live again…he along with my grandfathers soul.
