<H3>Stellated Buckyball Model</h3> This is a 60-element Buckyball model, easy to construct. <p> You will need : <ul> <li>Super Glue <li>Some 5mm Bamboo <a href="https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07KXGZWVF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1">sticks</a>. <li>Soldering iron (at 205 degr. C.) <li>Scalpel <a href="https://www.amazon.fr/Washati-Scalpel-avec-lames-rechange/dp/B00LIXZ3P0/ref=zg_bs_9474479031_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=EZ430BJZABEAXP8M3G7Y">knife</a> <li>Electric wire </ul> <p> <b>Instructions</b> <p> <ul> <li>Print 60 elements (infill 15-20%, supports=yes).<br> <li>Use a 5mm drill bit to clear the holes on the 3 triangular sides/legs. <li>Cut a handfull of 5mm diameter bamboo sticks (12-15mm long) and insert them in the legs. <li>Assemble 5 elements (keep the triangular leg with the vertical line pointing outward) with or without glue into a module. <li>You can "solder" the 5 elements by slowly tracing the seam between the elements. <li>When 12 rings with 5 elements have been assembled, construct the buckyball - it will be about 35cm in diameter. <li>Keep the modules together with some electrical wire while assembling the modules. <li>Glue the connections held together with the wires and remove the wires one by one. </ul> <p> Enjoy!
