Stepper cooling and chain mount for X-axis cable chain

thingiverse

My X-axis stepper motor likes to run hot after a while (~70 Celsius) and the temperature is way above safe threshold (you cannot keep touching it for longer than few seconds), so I've decided to take care of that issue and the other one with loose stepper motor cables. What you need: 1) Aluminium radiator 43 x 40 x 11 mm - I've got mine from some old, passively cooled GPU card. You can always narrow radiator slot down in 3D_Stepper_Bottom_Alternative to fit smaller radiator. 2) Fan 40 x 40 x 10 mm - Mine is Sunon 12V. 3) 2x M3 25mm Allan screws, 4) 2x M3 washers, 5) Thermal Tape, 0.5-1 mm thick to put on the radiator, where it will have contact with stepper motor.
