Stepper Motor Isolators

Stepper Motor Isolators

The Z axis stepper motors on the Sermoon D1 are mounted to the metal "floor" of the inside of the printer. When a CR/BL Touch sensor is utilized the constant movement of the Z axis stepper motors cause a loud ratcheting noise due to printer floor acting as a sound board much like a guitar. Creality used 42 40 steppers for the z axis. The end of the z axis stepper motors touch the top of the bottom of the printer precluding using any form of isolator. I suggest replacing the 42 40s with 42 34s which will allow the use of isolators. Either that or just install the rubber feet, find some way to mount the motherboard cooling fan and leaving the bottom off. I've included 1mm isolators to mount under the mounting screws and 5 mm to mount between the face of the stepper motors and the bottom of the printer floor.
