Stepper motor to 20mm wire chain adapter

thingiverse

Clamps around a stepper motor and provides an end to a 20mm wire chain. Instructions More or less an exact copy of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34048 only it's in openscad and is parametric (and slices properly for me). It also terminates the opposite side of the wire chain so you can use it with http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:57533 on your prusa I3 with a greg (wade) extruder. You can print it on its side if you use support, otherwise print it vertically (check the scad), but beware the large bridge at the top. I'd recommend making the motor_width variable slightly smaller than your motor's actual width so it fits tight (otherwise it slides too easily). The STL I included uses 42mm for the motor_width whereas my steppers are NEMA 17 (44mm). It's also compiled with trace_width = 0.66 and layer_height = 0.3 (2.2 WOT). If you want to compile it yourself, you'll also need one of the files from the 20mm chain (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10946) in the same folder as this scad.
