Slot this in between the cabinet and the speaker and replace the lock nuts. This spacer uses the original screw posts and doesn't require modification to the cabinet. This gets the woofer off of the cabinet and the mesh, I've noticed a decent improvement in the stock speaker since installing a spacer. Cheap mod to do before upgrading and replacing the woofer with something else.
