Stick Collar for the TAC-2 Joystick

Stick Collar for the TAC-2 Joystick

This a collar for the TAC-2. I bought one with a shattered collar (and the usual broken ball-stem). For the restore, I wanted something a bit beefier than the other collar available here. Mine also has the benefit of looking a bit more like the original. It's meant be just slightly loose in the socket because I didn't want to stress out the decades old plastic on the TAC-2. Any sort of mild adhesive should hold it in place. Of course, there's always CA glue if you're absolutely sure you want to keep it in there. I printed it right-side-up with 10% supports at 20mm support Z, and turned on the ironing in Cura. The surface came out pretty okay, though of course a little sanding was required around the collar base and under the lip. If you print it top-down on the bed all the bevel detail will very likely go away, so I'd recommend you give right-side-up a try. Vive la TAC-2!
