Sticky Note Desk Organizer

This mini desk organizer is great for all office needs. It includes a sticky-note pad holder, slots for pencils and markers, hooks for keys, a ruler, and even shelving for flash drives and small knickknacks. It is compact and perfect for keeping students’ desks neat, especially during virtual learning. Without taking up much room or being too heavy, the device can help pupils out in day-to-day tasks and enable them to have access to all of their things in one place. While designing this, I faced some issues involving angling. Due to the fact that it is mounted on a triangle base, the sticky-note holder had to be angled. However, if I angled it then added a piece, the new piece would come out distorted. For that reason, I ended up having to go back-and-forth quite often until I was satisfied with the way it sits on the triangle. If I could redesign this, I would add an empty space on the top side of the sticky-note holder and insert a slot for the last note to go. This way, access to the notepad would be made easier. 3D printing would help make this design better because it would allow me to test how well it would hold up in a real-life situation. I’d ensure it did not collapse during printing, break during use, or end up being too small to fit certain objects.
