I took Schmarty's "inkscape-unicorn.svg" http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5986 , deleted the image, and renamed it "default.svg" I've also changed the default ruler settings to centimeters, instead of inches. If you drop this into your Inkscape Templates subfolder, it will be the default template used when you fire up Inkscape. Since I only use Inkscape for Unicorn printing, this is exactly what I need! Hopefully you'll find it useful too. Instructions Rename your existing "default.svg" in your Templates folder to something else. Drop the "default.svg" folder into your Templates folder. ??? Profits!
