Stone(d) Giant - Bud Leafstone

This model is inspired by a non player character from a private campaign. This Stone(d) Giant is Bud Leafstone, aka Buddy. Bud Leafstone is a Stone(d) Giant with innate limited spellcasting ability. Buddy only ventures out of his lair on 4/20. He is usually a random encounter, usually along a road. Buddy will seemingly appear out of nowhere when the players are not looking. He will start asking the players a series of banal questions (in Common) about their mission, equipment, armor, weapons, favorite animals, favorite songs, fondest memories, which foods cause the most flatulence, etc. Buddy will not be hostile, unless he is attacked. If attacked, he will usually try to cast Confusion and/or Fog Cloud to help him escape. If under threat and escape is not possible, space permitting Buddy will cast Cloudkill, then Confusion or Fogcloud, then he will seek a melee weapon and respond as a normal Stone Giant. If not attacked or simply tolerated, Buddy will usually reward the players with some helpful tip, fact or rumor. If conversationally engaged, Buddy may cast Create food and water and ask the party to sit down with him for a snack. After roughly 30 minutes, Buddy will wander away.
