Storage box 3d connexion Space Navigator! Redesign of the first storage box I made. Made more room for the cable and making it more convenient to store the 3d mouse. Features: Fully printable without support Costum made screw-thread. No need for modifications afterwards! Easier to store the cable with the same amount of protection. Strong and sturdy design to keep it save from high drops. The black/grey stuff (on the screw-thread) you see in my picture's is some graphite for dry lubrication. Be carefull with the lips of the cable protector. Make sure the housing and protector are on the same height when you snap it into place. Best way that I found is put them both on a table and then slide it into place! Update 21-3-2017: Changed the cable peg a bit. Made a cut in the middle so the cable is easier to wind up and is less bendy. Print Settings Printer: Orca 044 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25-50% Notes: Printed on a Orca 044. Took about 15 hours and 137 cm3 of pla-filament. For the all in one file, you need a minimal printbed of 160x190x50.
