Storm Tile for "Forbidden Desert" Board Game

Just got Forbidden Desert board game yesterday. It's an awesome steampunk desert survival & escape game from the creator of Pandemic -- voted in the top 200 games on http://boardgamegeek.com. There is a storm that moves around and the game just leaves that tile empty. I made this cool little storm place holder for the game, to give it some spice! :) Remixed from Tornado Vase (thank you so much for the model). I sliced it in blender and added a base the same size as the other tiles on the game. I printed it .1 layer height in white and did 2 or 3 coats of burnt umber. I then just started going lighter and lighter in the shades, dry brushing, to the best of my modest ability. Used some playsand for the base. Made a paste with the sand and PVA glue (white glue) and a popsicle to apply it. Once I had the basic shape (the ripple swirl in the sand) I then dusted it with a light of dry sand then flipped the excess into the trash can. Once it dries I'll seal it with 15% pva/water (or so) mixture in spray bottle -- several coats (drying inbetween each). EDIT/NOTE [10/4/16]: Before adding play sand to your base like I did, Make sure you can seal it well enough so that not even one grain of sand can leave it at a later date. As a grain of sand between a sliding card and table isn't a pleasant experience. I'lll keep you guys posted how well I get it sealed -- just wanted to share this. Perhaps just painting the base would be better / good enough -- we'll see. EDIT #2 [10/5/16]: Sealed it with several coats of Krylon Matte clear finish. Seems to be doing a great job holding the sand. Tapped the mini on it's side on a hard surface several times and didn't see one grain of sand drop. :) Probably do a few more coats, let it dry a week then store in the Forbidden Desert tin -- going to have to design and print off a bunch of custom inserts for this box like I did with Pandemic (shared that model here a few days back). [What's with these game designers not making the box large enough to fit sleeved cards? My guess is they don't want you to sleeve them so you eventually have to buy new ones.. Not gonna happen!]
