I got three 6mm linear rods from Amazon on separate occasions but all 3 are slightly bent. After watching several Youtube videos and have seen other manual solutions I have decided to roll my own. With this and a pry bar under the rod, I managed to straightened all three rods to within +/- 0.001 inch with some patience: * Print two of this out, clamp them down, insert the rod, set the dial indicator on top and a pry bar below. * Rotate rod under dial and find the spot(s) that are the lowest point * Pry upwards against the rod, counter bend it. * Test the bend again, and repeat until the test reveals the error is acceptable.
