Strap-Lugs for Russian Sputnik Camera

Strap-Lugs for Russian Sputnik Camera

A printable part that lets you attach a strap to the Russian Sputnik Camera. For some odd reason the designers of the Russian Sputnik Stereo Camera felt that no one would want to use this big bulky thing with a camera strap. Well, I did. So I went ahead and printed out these simple strap lugs. They replace the black metal winding knob parts (Shown in the images attached to this page) Instructions -Print out the part (X2) I printed it at .1mm resolution, with 50% infill. I have included the Gcode for this part as well. -You simply unscrew the screws holding the winding knobs in place, unscrew the black metal knob housing, and replace them with your brand new frehsly printed strap-lugs. -Both Strap-Lugs are identical and will fit either side of the camera. Now, these parts seem plently strong to me, but I can't take any responsibility if you decide to whip your Sputnik around your head and try to fire it off into orbit and the strap lugs break and you end up in the hospital.
