Edit: This case has been superseded by the squared off slim case, I highly recommend it over this older design. Edit: 17 April. Update to fit Dan Murray high gain antennas. Also long enough to fit a VK-172. Same deal as below regarding the hole patterns just look for the files labeled new. New version of the Nooelec RTL-SDR means a new smaller case. This version comes in several flavors depending on how many antennas you want to attach and if you want holes for suction cups or not. All versions use the same base. The base has a hole for an MCX-SMA bulkhead adapter. All versions of this case have minimal passive vents and have a cutout for a 30x30x10mm fan. All tops have mounts for a GPS/AHRS. RY835ai Choose which top you want. Each STL file is named depending on what options it has. Two antenna versions have a hole for the extra SMA adapter. One antenna versions do not have that hole. Suction cup versions have 3 6.4mm (1/4") holes in the top for you to insert some suction cups. I got some suction cups with metal hooks at a local hardware store. They just need to have a mushroom head on the back with the thin part being 1/4". I use M3 cap head screws but #4 screws would work just fine. Start by drilling them top case holes to allow the hardware to slide in and then gently screw the screws into the base. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/rtd If you like this design and want to thank me my paypal address is helno@rocketmail.com I can also do any customization.
