e-NABLE volunteers Jason Briant and Nicholas Hall have designed a testing protocol to evaluate the strength of prosthetic hands fabricated with 3D-printed parts.The Strength Test Print 2 takes a Raptor Reloaded gauntlet https://www.youmagine.com/designs/raptor-reloaded-by-e-nable and it's printed flat version https://www.youmagine.com/designs/printed-flat-raptor-reloaded-gauntlet and creates a slice of each in the cross-section that frequent failure occurs. Water is gradually added to a bucket suspended from the test piece until the piece fails, then the bucket of water is weighed to determine the strength.
