Stressless recliner headrest booster clip

Stressless recliner headrest booster clip

I love my Stressless Ruby Classic recliner. It's the most comfortable piece of furniture we have. But the headrest scoots down to its bottom position every time I sit down. TinkerCAD and ten minutes produced this gadget. Print two of them and snap one on each headrest riser bar, and no more sinkage. Second version added with a wide base and top, to prevent stress on the leather around the headrest risers. 50mm tall, alter the Z axis to get longer or shorter clips. Prints quickly @ 0.30mm layers. Editorial: This is what I love about 3d printing! This would've required most of an afternoon in my hot garage with the lathe, mill, and some expensive aluminum stock (most of which would've ended up as chips). 10 minutes with TinkerCAD and an hour to print two of these... Problem solved!
