A printable LM8UU (15x8x24) replacement has finally arrived. Customize this design to perfectly match your printer's capabilities. Printing it with one or two perimeters and zero infill will yield an incredibly strong model, even a single perimeter with 0.5mm extrusion width and 0.25mm layer height will do the trick. I haven't had the chance to put it through real-world testing yet, but I plan on doing so in just a few weeks. The idea struck me recently and I quickly printed several prototypes. Currently, I'm experimenting with them on a rod and the results look very promising.
