Yes "The Waffle" looks fantastic, but I suspect the first time down the mountain it will be caked with snow and provide no more friction than an actual waffle would. So here is a more functional stomp pad that, should it get caked with snow, one swipe of your finger can clear the tread and you'll be back in business. Not to mention the sharp points should grip any boot. Currently it is 4x3" and the spikes are 0.5" tall.
