Coming from an Island that is only 100x35 miles that survived 2 hurricanes within the same month in 2017, pushing through government corruption, 100+ earthquakes in less than a week and more, I'm always certain Puerto Rico will rise again with an even stronger heart every time. My roots and ties with this island shaped the person I am today. My name is Carlos García, and I am a senior Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. This model represents my love for the island of Puerto Rico. We are currently facing hard times with a combination of earthquakes and government corruption, but I am sure we will prevail and stand stronger than before. The model is 3D printable using supports. The material can be simply white PLA, and then painted with desired colors.
