This is a remix of the remix! I just made it completely flat on the bottom in solidworks and I also made the outside and top of the ring flat too. It should be much stronger now. This is a good base for modification as the original mesh was VERY hard to build upon. I'm planning on modding it some more to contain some LED strip and printing in PETG. UPDATE: I've tried a few versions of these fan ducts - mainly with the plan of adding lights around the outside of them - but mostly the cooling has been the same or worse than stock. My new plan is using a 4020 fan and the stock cooling duct! UPDATE 2: thaukup posted a great make of this you should check out that shows what it would look like.
