The original author is very talented and did an amazing job with the mold - but three times I snapped off those little sticking out bits on the "Outer Part Bottom". So I made it a lot stronger and used a chamfer. It uses a bit more filament and it will never break again! :) I've included the STLs for the other parts for download convenience, but I only modified the file"Stronger_Outer_part_Bottom.stl" I didn't have 3mm wooden skewers, but I was able to use some modified 3mm thick weed-proof-membrane clips and they worked fine. Checkout my make for a better quality image of the mold and the socks I've produced. If you're in the UK and can't be bothered to go through the hassle of making these yourselves (it's a messy, fiddly, smelly job), I'm selling pre-made silicone socks here. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203270990854 I turned on concentric ironing on mine and it made the surface super smooth. I also printed at 0.12mm layer height. I also added some extra chamfers to make it easier to use (the fill holes will get chopped off when you're done anyway). Make sure you follow a guide to tune your PID afterwards using something like this https://matterhackers.dozuki.com/Guide/PID+Tuning/6 (I used a temp of 215c and 10 runs). UPDATE: I added a tiny hole going down the thin tube on the inner part that goes down into the main body so it prints perimeters all the way down and this should make it stronger too (I snapped one off and I know others have too). UPDATE 2: my printer didn't really take notice of the hole and the pillar snapped off again, so I made the hole bigger, shortened the pillar and chamfered the top. This should make it stronger and you can put a bit of paperclip into the hole to make it stronger. UPDATE 3: I rotated all the STL files to be in my preferred orientation for printing as it was annoying me having to rotate them each time I wanted to slice them! UPDATE 4: I ordered a second tube of high temp silicone in black with the intention of printing more attractive/less obvious covers and it didn't work at all. Totally stuck to the mold no matter how much dish-soap I used and wrecked it. It smelt more like tar than silicone. Basically if you sniff the silicone and it doesn't smell like it's burning your nose-hairs it's probably the wrong one!
