Our group submisison for this challenge is a simple desk organizer to help aid students in this time of distant learning. ● What issues did you come up against? During the process during our creative phase, we can focus on some issues. Everyone wants to implement their idea and go their route. Our solution to the problem as arguments grew, each grew member and picked an accessory they wanted in the design, and from there, our creative took off. ● If you could redesign this again, What would you change? What I would improve on is to see what type of material would give a better minimalist look. The material we had to go with is PLA. We would want to see what other material would be the right choice for this specific project. For example, if we had the opportunity to go with wood, ABS, or even metal, we could see our design's outlook. A significant change that was our design capability would be adding a charging cable through the part for more free charging capacity. As those would be our changes, we are satisfied with our group project. ● How would 3D printing help strengthen your design? Strengthening our skills is critical to any standpoint. 3-D printing lets our imagination run wild. If this process was mass-produced, using 3-D printing will allow us to see any defect with our design. It will allow for low-cost product development, creating less waste, while running plenty of prototypes before a final prototype.
