I really liked the original design, but I don't have a Kossel printer, I have a custom-made printer with 90° angles. Since I had it on-hand, I used 1/4-20 hex bolt and nut in place of the original hardware. One more trick that I used: I printed the foot's pad with NinjaFlex. I was able to do this by first printing the foot pad with PLA and the nut's cavity facing the build plate. Then I sliced the Ninjaflex pad separately @ 1mm height, and manually offset the z-axis value in the GCode file by the foot pad's printed height, and VOILA! I have an integrated grippy ninjaflex pad on the bottom of my sturdy foot! I have also included the SolidWorks 2014 files if anyone wants to further play with this model.
