Submarine with rubberband drive

rubberband driven submarine (experimental) 4 parts: - nose - hull - propeller - ball Attention: this is not a print-and-play-toy. It propably needs a little tuning after printing: As shown in the .gif file, i needed to put small pieces of wood under the stabilizers to keep the boat stable. This might depend / differ on the material you are printing with. I own a resin printer, so i can only share my experience with a standard uv-resin. Supports: I already added some supports, but the model still needs to be added supports by your printing software. important: Break or cut off the balls for the bearing and dont´t forget to grind the connector point with sandpaper to get the ball round. Otherwise, the ball won´t roll, but stumble, so the prop will stop way to early once the rubberbands tension reduces. The balls are inserted in the propeller-sided part of the bearing. They should go in with a little "click" The propeller also received a 6mm hexagon jack ´cause í´m too lazy to wind it up manually ;) Hints, ideas for improvement as well as pictures of makes are always welcome. have fun :) note: the video was taken from the second prototype, where the upper rear ponton didn´t print out properly. (the pre-support was improved since then) As this ponton is not supposed to hit the water, it worked anyway
