Created to help keep me dry on my long trips on my Subsonic GT40. Longboard wheels have a tendency to throw water all over you when riding in wet weather. I've tried metal covers previously that are mounted to the truck axle but they didn't fit very well, they rattled somewhat and made the board feel less responsive. So instead I made these fit to the truck base and just hang over the board. Note: This is a work in progress! Printed four in PETG and tested them out during a 60km trip. They work great in keeping you dry but I found that continuous bumping into them with my feet caused them to break near the edge of the truck base. Probably because PETG is quite brittle. So I need to strengthen the model at that point or maybe just print it with ABS or Nylon. Also, even though there is some space between the cover and the standing platform I still had issues with them touching eachother when riding and creating a vibrating noise. So I need to increase the airgap between them.
