Suction Cup 2.0 - 100% Printed

<p>This suction cup is an upgrade to my old design, where this one uses no screws or bolts!</p><p>it does not hold air forever, as the filament is not soft enough to close completely, but it is very strong for a short period of time.</p><h3><strong>Printing</strong></h3><h5><strong>Rigid Parts</strong></h5><ul><li>The rigid parts are printed in PETG and are all printed without support.&nbsp;</li><li>It is recommended to have 5 perimeters and 30% infill, to ensure the strength of the parts.</li><li>The layer height should not be more than 0.2mm, for the clip and the lever, as this will make it difficult to assemble and make the lever move rough.</li></ul><h5>Flexible Parts</h5><ul><li>The cup can be printed in TPU 85A and 98A. (I have not tried others)</li><li>Should be printed on a smooth plate to ensure the suction cup is tight.</li><li>It can be an advantage to print a bit hot, to make the TPU flow easier and avoid back pressure in the nozzle leading to the filament getting tangled in the extruder.</li><li>If you are having problems with printing TPU, you can also try to make your first layer a bit higher, since if it is adjusted to be too low, this will cause a back pressure in the nozzle.</li></ul><h3>Assembling</h3><ol><li>Put the handle into the two holes in the housing and twist it clockwise.</li><li>put the two clips in the holes next to the handle to lock it in place. (might be necessary to press against a table or other straight surface)</li><li>put the lever through the the hole in the center of the house.</li><li>bend the flexible cup, and push the knob into the bottom of the lever.</li><li>You are done!</li></ol><h3>Use</h3><ol><li>place the suction cup on a smooth surface.</li><li>flip the lever.</li><li>and lift whatever you sucked onto!</li><li>release the lever and remove the suction cup.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Good Luck and Happy Printing!!!!!</strong></p><p><strong>don't forget to check out my instagram “fredslund3d”</strong></p>
