Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer This all weather low altitude bomber and with variable-sweep wing, entered service with VVS in 1974 and has been exported in various countries. Built in almost 1400 exemplars the Fencer has been produced from 1967 till 1993 and russian air forces still have about 400 Su-24 in service. With a maximum sea level speed of M 1.35, this aircraft specializes in low altitude attacks; the maximum speed at high altitude of early variants was over M 2.0 but the modification of air intakes from variable to fixed of next models has limited this speed to M 1.6. The Su-24 has benn used in various theatres, from Soviet–Afghan War to the recent Syrian Civil War. The model proposed is a Su-24M Fencer D, variant introduced in 1983; in the download section you find three models so you can print the configuration you like: with wings at 16° for low speed flight, with wings at 45° for cruise and combat maneuvers and with wings at 69° for high speed low level flight. Model 1:100 scale printed at 1:285 with 0.2mm nozzle (but still sliceable with 0.4mm nozzle and 1:300 scale) and 0.12 mm layers. Printed with a Ender3 as shown in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0. I opted for the two-part version to keep most of the tail and nose details; use some sandpaper and in the end the glued joint is not so obvious and once painted almost invisible. Ciao Erik
