<p>We upgraded to a sand filter and had to remove the original pump from the skimmer; debris was creating clogs. Being the typical male, I decided to cut the bottom out of a 5gal bucket instead of paying (and waiting for) an injection molded part made for the task. The bucket was too thin so the collar couldn't seal it against the housing; 3D printing to the rescue. Here's a spacer that takes up the rest of the clearance plus a bit extra for good measure. It should be 6.4" (162.5mm) in diameter when imported into your slicer.</p>
