Sun shade for Chamberlain / Craftsman Liftmaster garage door opener IR receiver. Garage door would not close in the morning due to interference from direct sunlight. I reviewed other designs but was not satisfied. This part fits between the receiver and housing. It requires that you remove the side thumb screw, slide the part in place, then re-tighten the thumb screw. This installation should take approximately 1 minute or less. Installation of this component immediately fixed the interference closing issue and has been working flawlessly for several months.
