Since the depth of the Sunlu S8 printer is pretty huge, I wanted to relocate the electronics and power supply. This conversion reduces the depth of the print from 72 to 60cm. Also, it allows using silent fans, as the original fans on both the hotend and the power supply are screaming loud. My idea was to relocate the PSU in a "ender 3 style" on the rear right. Surely, you need to screw on the PSU on the bottom 2040 rails as the printer have dual z-motors. You need: 4x M4 (6-8mm) screws to bolt on the PSU to the case. 2x or better 3x M4 (6-8mm) screws and extrusion nuts (like the https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B079PQQBG4 ) to bolt on the case to the frame. 1x C13 Mains power connector and switch (like https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07XR579WY) 2x M3 (6-8mm) screws to connect the Power connector to the case. These mains power connectors are easy to source and are used wildly (also on the Creality printers). Printing the Case is straightforward. No supports are needed. 0.20 layer height is totally fine. You may get away with 0.28 to save some time.
