I was not real thrilled with the stock bracket and the tension on the Y axis belt. The stock bracket seemed prone to deflection under moderate tension. I actually bent mine. Getting good alignment so the belt didn't walk off the pulley was also not so easy. My design may be a little overkill actually when it comes to stiffness and durability, but wanted to be sure about it. I also printed mine with 100% infill. You definitely can just re-use the stock pulleys the spacer and the screw holding them. You don't need the two nuts. Its designed to permit using the stock screws that mount the bracket to the aluminum extrusion, but I wasn't 100% confident that the screws wouldn't back out over time and vibration. So i purchased some longer screws, a few washers, and some nuts. The nuts at the head of the screw allow for adjusting the bracket without needing to turn the screw, because I also put nuts to lock the screw in place at the tip of the screw so it couldn't turn anyway or back out. I put a washer between the nut at the screw head and the bracket so the nut wasn't directly loading onto the bracket surface. I've only used it for a few prints so far but it is rock solid.
