Video games allow individuals with disabilities to experience situations that may be difficult or limited in the real world, provide social networking opportunities to maintain mental and emotional health, and participate in one of the world’s largest pastimes. While video game controllers allow for very fine movement controls, holding a traditional controller and accurately pressing the trigger buttons can be challenging. A common strategy to not have to hold a controller while playing video games is to tape the controller to a flat surface in front of the gamer. The intent of this project is to allow for the top surface (where all the buttons are) of a sunwaytek SG-N30 game controller for Nintendo Switch to be flush with this surface and have the trigger button inputs be translated to the same surface. http://sunwaytek.com/n30.html To print, the minimum print bed must be 7" wide. If you wish to countersink the controller into a flat surface, cut a rectangle 5.75" long x 6.4" wide to drop the adapter in. This prototype was printed using a 1.75 mm PLA filament at a print temperature of 210°, a bed temperature of 60°, a layer height of 0.2mm, and an infill of 50%. EDIT TEXT
