8 super bright LEDs aimed straight on the print bed. Separate switch on the side. Runs directly off the 12V power supply. Instructions Print files: (I used 50% infill) ledPost - 1 ledPostSwitch - 1 ledCover - 2 ledShade - 2 2C ribbon cable - 28AWG (2) M5x12 and (2) M5 T-nuts to mount to frame LEDs - 3V Bright White from adafruit. http://www.adafruit.com/products/754?gclid=CJmv9fGw878CFQMMaQod2XsAUw You will need a 12V Rocker Switch that is 20mm diameter (example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLUE-LED-ROCKER-SWITCH-12V-ROUND-TOGGLE-ON-OFF-12-VOLT-/121388598217?_trksid=p2054897.l4275) . Print parts. Run wires. The ledPosts have a little wire cavity that will fit ribbon cable wires nicely. Simply line up LEDsin fittings so + meets - as shown in photo. Clip leads, bend and solder together. 4 LEDs per post hooked up in series to add up to 12V so no need for resistors. Both LED posts hooked in parallel to the switch. Switch wired directly into the power supply. The back covers do not need glue, they will snap and hold in place when you put on the shade. The shades are nice because the LED lights are BRIZZIGHT!!!
