However I tested charging over 1 hour and voltage over 3.9v, it still working fine. This 3.8V 500F SuperCap is a Lithium-ion capacitor, its recommended working voltage is from about 2.6V - 3.8V. Then the equivalent capacity is about 160 mAh, very small compared to the 18650 battery. This is just for fun. However, the supercapacitor is more env friendly and longer working life. I believe it can be a good Li-Po battery alternative for some IoT projects.
