Super Mario Star candlestick

This is a candlestick inspired from the most famous Super Mario game. The chosen item is this star that can make you invincible or allow you to progress to higher levels, depending on the version you play. It is in 2 parts, you can put them flat on the table. You have the lower support that actually builds the star form, and on top, in a separate part to avoid too much support material, a plate to catch-up wax leackages from the candle. The connection is done by 2 nails and some 2-component epoxy. And the candle will be held also by a central nail. To give a final touch to the assembly, I used some black acrylic paint for the eyes. Heat it up with a fire lighter or a candle for a couple of seconds, then press the candle over the nail.
