Super Simple Belt Tensioner Remix

Super Simple Belt Tensioner Remix

thingiverse

Remixed of berky93's Super Simple Belt Tensioner and nonlinear's GT2 Belt Tensioner https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1784375https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2046770 Couldn't get the SSBT to remain parallel to each other, which resulted in the part rubbing on my belts. I liked nonlinear's idea of flipping the tail and turning it into a dove tail joint, but the belt tension kept cracking his GT2 tensioners, so I designed this remix. BOM: 1 m3x25mm Screw 1m3 nyloc nut Once both parts are printed, slide the m3 nut into the rectangular cavity. The screw goes through the end with the dovetail. Bolt "Tensioner 2" to the mounting holes of the belt screw, and loop your belt through the loop in Tensioner 1. Then run the screw from "Tensioner 1" through "Tensioner 2" insuring that the dovetail is securely mated. Then simply screw until proper belt tension is achieved. Works for both X and Y axis belts. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Doesnt Matter Infill: 45% or higher Notes: Print the parts in the orientation of the STL's. It's important to print these so the grain of the z-axis isn't ever in tension. Print with supports ON for "Tensioner 2"
